Nothofagus Antarctica

Antarctic beech. An elegant, fast growing tree of medium size. Small, glossy, heart-shaped leaves turning yellow in Autumn. Often with curiously twisted trunk and branches. Not suitable for chalk soils, requires acid to neutral.
