Monarda ‘Mohawk’

Clumps of erect square stems. Narrow, upright habit. Mint like fragant foliage. Shaggy heads of deep lilac mauve flws with darker bracts. Flws: Jul-Sept. Ht 4ft. Tolerates any garden soil. Sun or semi-shaded. It has a degree of resistance to mildew which many of the varieties are prone to in dry conditions. Dislikes winter wet.
