Magnolia kobus

A very hardy, Japanese, small tree. Deciduous, broadly conical tree. Bears a profusion of fragrant, pure white flowers in mid Spring before small, slightly aromatic, dark green leaves appear. Thrives best in full sun and well drained soil. Ht 10-15ft. Rare and choice. Excellent for all types of soil including chalk.
