Gage ‘Willingham’ HST, VVA-1

As with the Old Green Gage form this was selected by the RHS for its good cropping and excellent quality. Found in the native hedgerows around Willingham in Cambridgeshire this is one of the finest eating qualities. Self fertile. Pick fruit August. Flowering group 3. Rootstock: VVA1, a new dwarfing rootstock for plums. Ht 2.5m.
